About me

Hello! My name is Jennie, and I am a Georgia Gwinnett College ​alumna with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration ​with a concentration in Marketing. During my time at GGC, ​I've learned to take on several class projects and grew my skills ​in courses like social media marketing, marketing research, ​advertising, and global marketing!

In addition to in-class achievements, I have also taken on ​various responsibilities in the following positions:

Lunar Krew

Graphic Design

I am responsible for creating ​graphics for the Instagram to ​match with recently uploaded ​dance videos. I use ProCreate and ​Pixlr (a free software similar to ​Adobe Photoshop) as my main ​editing mediums/software. Each design​ is catered to the song’s concept wh​ile keeping it simple and creative ​for th​e team’s feed.

Video Editing (and directing)

I edit the team’s videos that get ​uploaded to YouTube on CapCut ​Desktop. Some videos are co-​edited (Batter Up) with other team ​members, while others are fully ​edited by myself (Baggy Jeans, ​Generation).


I also direct the filming for some ​videos (Baggy Jeans) and ​coordinate shooting with the ​videographer with shot notes.

Noon Authentic

Social Media

I helped my supervisor develop ​content for Noon Authentic’s ​dance intensive event that we ​hosted in July 2023. I made drafts ​of the digital event flyer, and also ​filmed content from the dance ​workshop for our Instagram story.


The brand also had a clothing drop ​in October 2023, and I was tasked ​with creating a social media ​calendar with content ideas when ​rolling out the products.

Noon Authentic

Events

For the Noon dance intensive ​event in July 2023, I collaborated ​with a fellow intern in creating the ​timeline leading up to the event, ​including things we needed to ​execute on the day of. We planned ​content for our social media to ​tease the event a month in ​advance, and also worked on-site ​on the day of the event to make ​sure it was running smoothly. It was ​extremely rewarding to see our ​plans come to life through this ​event.

Style Production & Execution

I was in charge of curating a styling ​deck for the photoshoot and behind-​the-scenes footage for Noon’s clothing ​drop in October 2023. I did research on ​styling and posing, and assisted with ​planning on how the photoshoot was ​going to be run.


On photoshoot day, I acted as the ​production assistant to ensure that ​shots looked good and that we were ​running on schedule. I was also in charge ​of setting up the wardrobe for the ​models and providing any additional ​assistance that was needed.

Market Research

In the early stages of my time at ​Noon, I executed multiple ​research analyses of Noon ​Authentic’s market, potential ​audience, and other elements. ​This was to help find Noon’s ​branding voice and identity as we ​looked at examples.


I eventually was able to learn how ​to create future research ​presentations using Noon’s ​branding for a seamless way of ​presenting information to my ​supervisor.

Social Media

As a member of the Instagram team, ​I contributed to content ​management, copywriting, and ​research. As a team, we grew our ​account followers by 25% and ​increased engagement by 23% over ​Summer 2023.
